Editing or removing a gift
Update a gift's details, mark it unavailable, add a private note, or remove it.
Who can edit a gift?
The list's owner, and the person who added that gift.
How do I edit a gift?
- If it's your list, select the gift on the list. If you added the gift to someone else's list, open it and select Edit.
- Change the details. The form is the same as when adding a gift, plus Availability (Available or Unavailable).
- Select Save Changes.
As the list's owner you'll also see Private note, which only you can ever see — handy for a reminder like "Already have the blue one".
How do I remove a gift?
- Open the gift's edit page.
- Select Delete.
- Confirm by selecting Remove.
The gift disappears from the list. Anyone who had already reserved it will see "Gift no longer available" on their shopping list.
