Adding a gift
Paste a product link to fill in the details for you, or enter a gift by hand.
Who can add gifts?
The list's owner, and anyone the list is shared with at Edit access. Open the list and select Add Gift.
Add a gift from a product link
- Choose Paste a link (it's selected by default).
- Paste the product's web address into Paste a product link.
- Select Fetch details. It can take a few seconds.
- Check the details Weeesh found — title, description, picture and price — and change anything you like.
- Select Add Gift.
If Weeesh can't read the page, it tells you and opens the form with the link already filled in, so you can type the rest yourself.
Enter a gift by hand
- Choose Enter manually.
- Fill in the form (see below).
- Select Add Gift.
What can I fill in?
- Title — the only required field.
- Product URL — where to buy it. Once entered, Open link ↗ lets you check it.
- Image URL — the web address of a picture of the gift. Weeesh shows a preview. You can't upload a photo from your device.
- Description — size, colour, model, or anything else that helps.
- Price and Currency — the currency starts as the preferred currency from your Gift Preferences.
- Quantity — how many people can reserve one. Set it to 0 for unlimited, for example for gift cards or books from a wish list.
- Priority — Low, Medium or High. Higher-priority gifts appear first.
Note: If you're adding a gift to someone else's list, you'll also see Gift visibility. Learn about hidden gifts.
