How surprises stay secret
What a list's owner can and can't see about the gifts others reserve.
What the list's owner sees
- On their list, the owner never sees which gifts are reserved or bought, how many, or by whom.
- In the list's Activity tab, reservations and purchases are hidden from the owner — unless the person who reserved unticked Keep this a surprise.
- Gifts added as hidden from the list owner don't appear for the owner at all.
What everyone else sees
- Other people with access see that a gift is Reserved, and how many are left — never who reserved it.
- You always see your own reservations.
