Sharing a list
Choose who can see your list, and whether they can add gifts to it.
What is this page?
Open one of your lists and select Share at the top. The Share page has three sections you can open and close:
- Shared with — everyone who already has access, split into People and Groups.
- Share this list — share with a group or a person.
- Private link — a link you can send to anyone.
View or Edit?
Every share has an access level:
- View — can browse and reserve gifts.
- Edit — can also add gifts. People with edit access can also hide gifts they add from you, to plan a surprise.
Nobody but you can change the list's details or its sharing.
How do I change or remove access?
- Open Shared with.
- Select Switch to Edit or Switch to View to change someone's access.
- Select Revoke to remove it, then confirm. They lose access immediately.
Common questions
- Why can't I see the Share button?
- Only a list's owner can share it.
- Does Weeesh tell people I've shared a list with them?
- No — Weeesh doesn't send emails or notifications. Let them know yourself, or use Share via to send the private link.
